These two dual-SIM smartphones are named as Karbonn A7 and Karbonn A9 and its 7.1 inch tablet is dubbed as Karbonn Smart Tab 1. Karbonn A7 and Karbonn A9 are coming in the market as a line-up of the Karbonn A1, the first android handset from Karbonn. While Karbonn Smart Tab 1 is making an entry as a very first Android tablet from this India-based manufacturer.

Karbonn A7
The Karbonn A7 is packed with 1GHz processor and is running on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread operating system. It packs a stylish capacitive touchscreen display of 2.8 inches, as well as, a 5 MP camera with dual LED flash. The device will be packed with a 1420 mAh battery and will hit the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 5,000.
Karbonn A9
Similar to the Karbonn A7, Karbonn A9 is also powered with 1GHz processor and running on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread operating system. A chic capacitive touchscreen display of Karbonn A9 is wider than that of Karbonn A7. The display size measures 3.8 inches. It sports a better 1,600 mAh battery. Even though, there is no info about the camera of this device, it is likely to be the similar to that of A7. The street price of Karbonn A9 is marked at Rs 7,900.
Now, comes to the Android ICS–based tablet.
Karbonn Smart Tab 1
Karbonn is making its debut in the tablet arena with Smart Tab 1 and the good thing is that this debut tab is running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich v4.0.3 operating system. The tablet brought a complete makeover to the Android OS and user interface, which will lead it in the competition. Smart Tab 1 is packed with a Cortex A8 1.2 GHz processor. It features a 7.1 inch capacitive 5 point multi-touch display with a 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The tablet packs a 2 mega pixel front camera but there is no rear camera. It is featured with a 3D G-Sensor to offer better gaming experience, so you will have entertainment on the go.
The tab is also supported by 3G USB dongle, so you will be able to access internet over 3G via the USB dongle provided by the relevant manufacturers such as Idea Netsetter, Tata Photon, etc. Besides 3G internet access, there is also an option of using Wi-Fi to get faster upload speed and internet download. As Smart Tab 1 is running on the Android OS, it will enable you to make use of the Android Play Store for installing, acquiring and trying out new Android apps, tools, games, widgets and lot more.
Other features of Smart Tab 1 include HDMI connectivity, microSD card slot and full HD video playback of 1080p videos. The tablet packs 3700mAh battery, which is capable of delivering 24 hours mp3 playback time using ear phones, 8 hours video play back time using head phones and 7 hours internet surfing time.
When it comes to the price, Karbonn has not disclosed any price for Smart Tab 1. However, considering tactics adopted by other firms and the low budget Indian users, it should be priced below Rs 10,000. A much anticipated price of Karbonn Smart Tab 1 is Rs 7,000. Smart Tab 1 is for sale in India only and the company has started pre-booking for the device on the official Karbonn Mobile sites.
