Chutki is the closest friend of Bheem and she is a seven year old girl. She is so simple, graceful and intelligent girl who matches Bheem’s “brawn” with her “brain.” She also has a slight crush on Bheem which you can see in the episode “'Bheem vs. Hercules'. She is very responsible girl towards her parents as well as her household chores.

And his second friend Raju is a cute and courageous boy who is four year old. He gets his size from his father that belies his courage. All the time, he follows Bheem. Raju has one dream to become a commander of the King’s Army someday.

And his third friend named Jaggu is a talking monkey. He is the close friend of Bheem and adoring pet. He is so clever because he always tries to solve the problems by using various tricks and his amazing sense of humor. With their chores, he and Bheem have fun jointly whether it discovering forest or helping people.

Kalia Pehalwan is an eleven year old boy and he is strong bully. All the children of Dholakpur village scared from him. When any calamity or disaster struck on Dholkpur village then both Bheem and Kalia together save the village with their power.

Indu or Princess Indumati is a seven year old and she is kind hearted. She is the daughter of King and the princess of Dholkpur. Both Chutki and Indu are rivals because they compete for Bheem’s affection and attention.

Dholu and Bholu are spineless followers of Kalia Phalwan. Both, Bholu and Dholu are twins brothers who dress alike. They are quite lazy and like to avoid chores but Kalia always orders them to do his share of work too. Both brothers are little bit of arrogant because of the effect of kalia on them they pick on young children like Raju but fear Bheem very much.

At the ‘Golden Cursor Awards 2009, “Chhota Bheem” is the winner of the Best Animated TV Series award held in Mumbai.
