The official website of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is www.irctc.co.in, where you can book tickets online, track your ticket and also print your booked ticket history. To check IRCTC booked ticket history for printing, you need details like PNR number, transaction Id and date of Journey.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is a subsidiary of the Indian railways which controls the catering, tourism and online ticketing operations of the railways. It is best known for changing the pattern of railway ticketing in India. It provides online booking service on its website as well as from mobile through GPRS or SMS. People can also do Ticket cancellations or modifications online. For frequent travelers, IRCTC has also launched loyalty program called "Shubh Yatra”.  From IRCTC website, people can also book flights, hotel, tourist trains, tour package, etc. The railway website provides all type of services connected to train ticket booking, line booking, Reservation Enquiries, PNR Enquiry, Train Enquiry, Train/Fare accommodation, train schedules, train routes, seat availability, availability of tickets and cancellation, and trains between important stations.

How to book IRCTC ticket online?

To book Railway Ticket, you need to register an account at IRCTC. Once you login and register in the site, enter your source and destination stations with date. There are list of all trains available between the selected source and destination stations shown on the screen. From the list, select the suitable train for your journey and click 'Book Ticket'. Enter details of every passenger such as name, age, sex, preferred berth, etc and click 'Go'. Then click on 'Make payment' option, which will give you list of payment options, choose any one option and make the payment successfully. After making payment, user is shown the ticket confirmation details along with a “Print Reservation Slip” button. On clicking the button ERS is shown with an option to print.

How to print IRCTC booked ticket history?

After booking your ticket, passenger can get booked ticket history in print version. To get booked history, they need to login in the site with user Id and password, created in registration process. After login in the site, it will ask you to once again enter your password and then click on Go. Now get user profile page, where you will get number of options on left side of the screen including user profile, my transactions, service and general. From my transactions tool, open booked history page and enter your PNR number, Transaction ID and Date of Journey details and click on ‘History’. You can see booked ticket history for limited time. At the history page, site also gives print options, click on it and get print booked history.
