Legend of the Seeker Season 3 Spoilers
Legend of the Seeker is a sci-fi action adventure series that is based on the award winning novels ‘The Sword of Truth’ written by Terry Goodkind. The series is produced by ABC Studios and distributed in domestic syndication by Disney-ABC Domestic Television.
Legend of the Seeker revolves round a woods guide named as Richard Cypher (Craig Horner), who is after being thrust into a world of magic and charged with the responsibility to protect the world from evil. The series first season was premiered with a double bill on November 1, 2008. In January 2009, the series was renewed for a second season that premiered on November 7, 2009.
Legend of the Seeker Season 2 has been completed on May 22, 2010 with the final episode ‘Tears’. The series has a total of 44 episodes aired in both season. As of March 4, 2010, Tribune Company has decided not to renew the series. In April, ABC announced that Legend of the Seeker Season 2 Finale will be the last for the TV series and it is going with the decision of Tribune Company that the series will not renew for a third season.
The series has received a low rating in its second season. As of Episode 20, “Eternity” that aired on May 8, 2010, Legend of the Seeker listed a scarce 2.21 million viewers which is below the average rating of other TV series. The IMDb reported that Legend of the Seeker has been cancelled by ABC Studios on 12th May 2010.
To the decision of ABC and Tribune, the fans are not conceding and started a community on the ‘Save Our Seekers’ website for the continuation of Legend of the Seeker Season 3. The show has recorded the averaged 2.5 million viewers every week with little to no promotion, and an erratic airing schedule.
When the show already has a rapid growing international fan base, the non-continuation to Legend of the Seeker Season 3 came at a time said the Fans. Yet any response to the clamor of fans has not been issued by ABC and Tribune. Fans are much awaited and expect that ABC will change its decision and renew the Legend of the Seeker for the third season soon because they think that Legend of the Seeker season 3 will be better than the previous Legend of the Seeker seasons. Give it some prime-time advertising & a respectable time-slot instead of Saturday afternoons. I've turned several friends on to this show & they love it. I love you Bridget & Tabarett!!

It is a fabulous show that has just gotten better and better, especially with Kara joining the group. There is nothing else like it on TV and thanks to my DVR I have not missed an episode!

I think it would be a dumb move to take it of the air. People haven't had a chance to discover it yet, I have already gotten 3 people hooked on this show. Just give it a chance, don't take it off it has a lot of potentail.

and an interesting story line, that unlike other mind-numbing series, keeps your imagination running at full speed.
It would be a damn shame to not at least have one evening of interesting television to look forward to each week.
Please ABC, we have seen enough crime and medical shows to choke a horse. Please give us Seeker back........
