MTNL, the mobile service provider of India has announced the launch of three new tablets in India. The all new tablets of MTNL are named as Lofty TZ300, Lofty TZ200 and Lofty TZ100. Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) launched the tablets in association with Teracom, which is a leading provider of 3G data cards for BSNL and MTNL. These tablets are offered with free complementary package of 10 GB data usage on the 3G network for both local and roaming with a validity of two months. The tablets are priced at Rs 3,999, Rs 6,499 and Rs 10,999 respectively. Take a look at the specifications of each tablet.
Lofty TZ100
TZ100 is one of the highest rated tablets of MTNL. The device runs on Android 4.0 Ice-Cream Sandwich as its Operating System. It sports a capacitive touchscreen display of 7 inch with a maximum resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. TZ100 is powered by a 1 GHz Cortex A9 processor. It features a 3 megapixel camera at the rear and 0.3 megapixel camera on the front for video calling or web conference. The device has calling functionality with 3G SIM support for both voice and data functions. It has an internal storage of 4 GB that can be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card slot. The tablet also supports 512 MB of RAM. Multimedia files such as RM/RMVB, MKV, FLV, VP8, MPEG and AVI are supported by TZ100. It is equipped with a powerful battery of 4200 mAh. Lofty TZ200
TZ200 is a mid range tablet that sports 7 inch Multi-Touch Capacitive Screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice-Cream Sandwich. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz Arm cortex A9 processor. It is equipped with a standard battery of 3000mAh. The tablet features a 0.3 megapixel VGA front facing camera for video chatting and web conference. It lacks a rear facing camera. The device supports 512 MB of RAM. It comes with an internal storage of 4 GB, which can be expanded up to 32 GB through a micro SD card slot. The connectivity features of TZ200 include USB 2.0, HDMI Port for HD TV, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and the 3G connectivity that can be utilized with the help of external dongles. Lofty TZ200 is priced at Rs. 6,499.
Lofty TZ300
TZ300 sports a 7 inch resistive screen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice-Cream Sandwich as its operating system. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz Arm cortex A9 processor. There is no rear facing camera, but the device features a 0.3 megapixel camera on the front for video calling. TZ300 comes with an internal memory of 4 GB, which can be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card slot. The connectivity features of the tablet include Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, HDMI Port for HD TV, USB 2.0 and USB data dongles. It is equipped with a 3D Gravity sensor and 512 MB of RAM.
