How to do online NTU Course Registration at ntu.edu.sg?
Online course registration service of NTU attracts more students to get their education through Nanyang Technological University. Are you interested to get admission in to NTU through online registration? If so, then ntu.edu.sg is best for you. NTU’s online registration of courses (Core, GER PEs and UEs) is made by using Students Automated Registration Systems (STARS). Before the registration, you have to check out content of courses, class schedule, class index number, course vacancies and examination timetable. After checking course details, you have to fill up STARS Planner to map out your timetable. &;
STARS planner will become a most helpful to plan and save your courses. You can not register STARS planner before submitting STARS. To save and plan your courses in the stars planner, you have to login in the site with matriculation number and PIN number. Add your desired courses in the course box after login in STARS planner. You can also check the NTU offered courses through Option section which is listed with numerous courses. When you click on the desired course from the given option list, you will also get another related courses along with their codes in the course box. Write the code of desired course in the course code box, and hit plan button. For your desired courses, you can add minimum 1 and maximum 13 course code.
In the next step, select preferred index number for each course code. As an index number, you have to select your class or exams timetable. If your selected timetable is not available, then it will be highlighted in red; in this situation, you have to re-select your course's Class Schedule and/or Exam Timetable. Submit your planned timetable into STARS during your scheduled registration period.
Afterward, your complete plan will be displayed on STARS page which can be accessed during your scheduled registration period. You also need matriculation number and PIN to access STARS. List of option will be displayed as soon as you have login in the star that are add course, drop course, check/print course registered, check vacancies available, change index number of course, swop index number with another student, and re-classify GERPE course type.
If you want to add or drop courses, then you can do it during registration by using add or drop courses option. You have to check out list of courses for which you have registered so that you can ensure that your records are correct. Just clicking on index number, you can check available vacancies as well as the length of waitlist for a particular course.
During the registration, it also allows students to change the index number of registered courses; you just need to enter index no. of the registered course and the new index no. which you want to change. Once you have made the change, it will display preview of it, check it carefully before confirming to change the index number.
You are also able to exchange your index number with same course student. For the transaction to take place, you have to enter another students start matriculation number, PIN and index number that you would you like to swop. If the transaction is successful, it will sent e-mail to both students. You can also re-classify GEPRE course type. After making all changes, print and check updated timetable of registered courses and attend the classes.
