Budget tablets are on the way!!! Are you interested to buy reasonable priced tablet? Then, wait for sometime as Skytex has launched its newest line of Android 4.0 tablets at the CES 2012, namely - Omega Skypad and Argos Skypad. Skytex is increasing its line of budgeted Android tablets by introducing few new models that run on Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The company will introduce a cheap Android tablets in Q2 of 2012. Both the tablets of Skytex will come with interesting features and surely, attract the attention of the customers. As well, both tablets of Skytex, specifically designed with the new model will cost around $199.
Display
Both the tablets have large display and most of the same features and specifications. The Skytex SkyPad Omega will come with 8 inch 1024 x 768p capacitive 5-point multi touch display whereas the Skypad Argos has a screen with a size of 7 inch including resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.
Processor and OS
Apart from the display size, both Omega and Argos tablets run on Google Android 4.0 or known by name Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS). Skytex Omega and Argos are powered by 1.2GHz single core processor.
Other features
The other features of both the tablets include Mali 400 graphics with support for 1080p HD video, 8 GB of storage memory, and capacitive touch panels. In addition to this, Skytex Omega will have a removable battery which is moderately favorable while you need to replace tablet’s faulty power cell. On the other hand, Skytex Argos tablet display a removable back panel so that users can easily customize the tablet as per preferred style or color.
Price
The tablets will perform pretty well regardless of its low-cost impression. As a budget tablet, both will be priced at around $199.
