Yamaha launched its new upcoming model Yamaha SZ 125cc bike in India in June 2010. Power with relieve is offered by the new bike and Yamaha is intending for a mass attracted one. The Yamaha SZ is powered by a 125 cc of engine and advanced technologies. It contains sporty alloy wheels, self start option, at least one digital meter, catchy graphics and body color. New Yamaha SZ is powered by a 4-stroke 123.7cc engine that can generate a maximum power of 11 Bhp @ 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 10.4 Nm @ 6500 rpm.

Yamaha SZ has a sporty design with awesome front fairing, racy paint/graphics and stylish rear with a bold exhaust. In recent years, Indian promises to unveil the actual shown SZ plan around the Automobile Expo located in India. The bike is loaded with 18 inch five spoke alloy wheels. The tyre size is 2.75x18 42P for front and 3.00x18 52P or rear. Design includes trapezoid shaped doom, halogen headlamp, dual tone panels, transparent wind screen, twin body color and painted racing graphics.

A mileage of 60 kmpl in mixed conditions can be provided by this commuter bike. New SZ is available in five speed manual transmission. According to direct sources, “the Yamaha SZ might have both drum brakes. A disc brake variant is also expected. The front shock absorber would be telescopic type and the rear one would be adjustable.” The bike, Yamaha SZ incorporates 13 liters of fuel tank with 1.5 liters of reserve.

The Yamaha SZ contains a five speed manual gearbox. The bike is carrying sporty look and the front and rear view of the Yamaha SZ is sharp and sporty. The bike gets analogue dashboard comprised of fuel gauge, tachometer, speedometer, trip meter and other common indicators. It will be introduced with a new designed muffler.
