Step 1: At registration page fill up required information like valid E-Mail ID, password, conform password, your first name, middle name, last name, your age, gender, country, and state.
Step 2: On the Preference page select a view article option which you wish. There three options are provided to view articles like articles in PDF, articles in text, and articles in images. Then choose Default Edition from the list of three default including Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad. Select yes or no to get Article Tips. After then you select Page number or Thumbnail as view option.
Step 3: Choose a subscription type at the subscription page. There are four subscription type are provided on this page such as one month, three month, six month, twelve month with duration, price, and currency. Then click on register and then click on conform for The Hindu e-paper.

The latest front page of your default edition will be displayed after sign in to the website. The Hindu e-papers’ articles, photographs and other images can be seen in .pdf and .jpg format. The articles can be read as text. You can change your default edition from the “My Preferences” tab.
You will see the page numbers or page thumbnails. To read the edition you can use this numbers or thumbnails. By using previous and next links from top of each page, thus you get the previous and next pages.
When you get the article as an image, use the zoom button to make the text size larger, but only to an extent. If you want sharp and detailed zooming, it is best to view zoom the pdf version of the article. Use the Adobe Reader’s zoom tools in this case. The format of image presents a good viewing experience as it looks like a newspaper clipping.
When you are viewing the article in text, switch to image or pdf view to zoom. Text is good for emailing and for excerpting/extracting quotations from the text. The pdf version is also good for downloading for future reference and for printing.
By using search engine you can look news which you want by entering keyword of news. You can send article to your friend by emails. In the case of printing the articles which you are viewing, click on print tab from the top right of the article window.
If you want to read the pervious articles, thus select a date from the Date menu on the top right of the screen. You can get only last 7 days issues articles of The Hindu. If you want to see older edition, click on “Archive” on the top right of the screen.
